Pimpinan dan anggota Komisi C saat di lokasi Pasar Ngunut yang terbakar, Selasa (19/11).

DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Pimpinan dan anggota Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung, Selasa (19/11), melakukan kunjungan ke Pasar Ngunut. Kunjungan tersebut untuk memastikan para pedagang tetap melakukan aktifitasnya setelah terjadi kebakaran hebat belum lama ini.

Semua pimpinan dan anggota Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung ikut dalam kunjungan ini. Mereka didampingi oleh Kepala Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Tulungagung, Dra Imroatul Mufidah, MSi.

Ketua Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung, H Asrori SH, mengungkapkan dengan berkunjung ke Pasar Ngunut dapat melihat secara langsung keadaan pedagang pasca kebakaran. “Nanti akan kami kaji langkah-langkah selanjutnya. Saat ini para pedagang yang mengalami kebakaran sudah direlokasi untuk sementara di pasar hewan. Kesejahteraan pedagang harus dinomer satukan,” ujarnya.

Menurut politisi asal Partai Golkar ini, untuk kedepan bisa jadi lokasi Pasar Ngunut saat ini tidak lagi dijadikan lokasi pasar, tetapi untuk pembangunan sarana alun-alun atau ruang terbuka hijau. “Ini masih perlu kajian juga. Apakah nanti memang bisa dijadikan alun-alun atau tidak,” terangnya.

Hal yang sama dikatakan anggota Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung, H Fuad Ashari. Ia menyebut sudah ada rencana untuk menjadikan Pasar Ngunut sebagai alun-alun.

“Namun permasalahannya ada sebagian pedagang Pasar Ngunut yang belum setuju jika kemudian Pasar Ngunut dijadikan alun-alun atau ruang terbuka hijau,” paparnya.

Selanjutnya, Fuad Ashari mengungkapkan jika memang alun-alun terealisasi dibangun di lokasi Pasar Ngunut saat ini, maka pedagang bisa dipindah ke Pasar Ngunut baru. Yakni di lahan bekas Pabrik Gula (PG) Kunir.

“Lahan di bekas PG Kunir luas. Namun hingga kini belum diserahkan pada Pemkab Tulungagung. Untuk dijadikan lokasi pasar perlu ada permintaan lagi pada Kementerian BUMN agar lahan tersebut dapat dikelola oleh Pemkab Tulungagung,” paparnya lagi.

Sebelumnya, Kepala Bappeda Kabupaten Tulungagung, Ir Suharto, mengungkapkan pula jika ada wacana pembangunan alun-alun di lokasi Pasar Ngunut saat ini. Namun rencana itu masih terkendala lahan eks PG Kunir yang belum diserahkan pada Pemkab Tulungagung. “Kalau lahan bekas PG Kunir itu diserahkan ke Pemkab Tulungagung maka Pasar Ngunut bisa pindah kesana. Perlu usaha dari nol lagi untuk meminta lahan bekas PG Kunir ke pemerintah pusat,” tuturnya.
