DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Komisi A DPRD Tulungagung dalam pekan ini terus melakukan inspeksi mendadak (sidak) di beberapa sekolah di Tulungagung. Sidak ini untuk memantau pembagian seragam dan perlengkapan sekolah yang dibagikan gratis pada siswa kelas 1 SD/MI dan kelas 7 SMP/MTs.

Ketua Komisi A DPRD Tulungagung, Drs H Mashud, Rabu (10/10),mengungkapkan dari hasil sidak yang dilakukan beberapa hari terakhir didapat hasil yang cukup mengecewakan. Masalahnya, hanya sebagian saja perlengkapan sekolah yang diberikan pada siswa-siswi yang berhak menerimanya.

“Seragam sekolahnya belum semua. Baru sebatas pengukuran. Bahkan ada yang belum diukur siswa-siswinya untuk mendapat seragam gratis itu. Utamanya yang siswa-siswi di SMP/MTs,” ujarnya.

Sebagian siswa, lanjut politisi asal PKB ini, hanya menerima tas sekolah saja. “Seperti di SMP 1 Kauman. Siswa kelas 7 disana baru menerima tas ransel saja. Sementara siswa di SMP lain banyak yang belum menerimanya,” tuturnya.

Mashud mengaku prihatin dengan proses pembagian seragam dan perlengkapan sekolah gratis yang saat ini memakan waktu relatif lama. Ia menyebut proses pembagian tahun ini lebih buruk daripada tahun lalu.

Selanjutnya, Mashud menandaskan dari hasil sidak ke beberapa sekolah didapat beberapa masukan tentang bagiamana cara agar pembagian seragam dan perlengkapan sekolah gratis dapat cepat terealisasi. Di antaranya dengan memberdayakan penjahit sekitar sekolah untuk ikut dalam pengerjaan menjahit baju seragam sekolah.

“Banyak masukan yang sudah kami terima. Minggu depan rencananya kami akan panggil Kepala Dinas Pendidikan, Pemuda dan Olahraga (Dindikpora) Kabupaten Tulungagung dalam persoalan ini,” tandasnya lagi.

Mashud menegaskan pemanggilan Kepala  Dindikpora Kabupaten Tulungagung untuk menindaklanjuti pernyataan dari Wakil Ketua DPRD Tulungagung, Imam Kambali SE MSi yang sudah menandatangani surat pemanggilan pada Kepala Dindikpora. “Sekarang kami sidak-sidak dulu di sek0lah untuk memantau, baru pekan depan kami panggil Kepala Dindikpora-nya,” ucapnya.
