DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Ketua Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung, Drs Subani Sirab, mewacanakan pembukaan kembali lokalisasi PSK (pekerja seks komersial) di Kabupaten Tulungagung. Hal ini untuk mengatasi penyebaran penyakit HIV/AIDS yang kian tahun kian bertambah di Kota Marmer.

“Usulan saya untuk mengatasi meningkatnya penderita penyakit HIV/AIDS di Tulungagung adalah membuka kembali lokalisasi PSK,” ujarnya di Kantor DPRD Tulungagung, Selasa (29/1).

Pembukaan kembali lokalisasi PSK tersebut, lanjut Subani, akan mempermudah petugas Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) dalam mengontrol kesehatan mereka sehingga penularan penyakit HIV/AIDS dapat diminimalisir dan tidak menyebar kemana-mana. Tidak seperti saat ini dimana Dinkes Kabupaten Tulungagung kesulitan dalam mengontrol kesehatan PSK karena mereka berada tidak di satu tempat.

“Nanti kalau benar-benar lokalisasi dibuka tempatnya di pinggiran saja. Bisa di daerah pegunungan Sendang atau di daerah selatan yakni di Dlodo Pucanglaban,” paparnya.

Menurut politisi asal Hanura ini wacana pembukaan kembali lokalisasi PSK untuk mengatasi peningkatan penderita penyakit HIV/AIDS dapat didiskusikan oleh para pemangku kepentingan di Tulungagung. Termasuk kalangan agama.

Dari Data Dinkes Tulungagung yang diketahuinya, Subani menyebutkan saat ini jumlah penderita penyakit HIV/AIDS di Tulungagung cenderung meningkat tajam. Saat penutupan lokalisasi PSK di Ngujang dan di Kaliwungu jumlah penderita penyakit HIV/AIDS hanya sekitar 500 orang. Bandingkan dengan saat ini penyakit HIV/AIDS di Tulungagung sudah diderita 1.038 perempuan , ibu rumah tangga (541 orang), laki-laki (1.282 orang), PSK (259 orang) dan waria (28 orang).
