Selain Disnak, lanjut politisi asal Desa Nyawangan Kecamatan Sendang ini, pihak kepolisian diminta pula untuk terlibat dalam memberi keamanan dan penyuluhan pada masyarakat. Terlebih masyarakat di tiga desa di Kecamatan Sendang sampai sekarang setiap malam selalu melakukan penjagaan untuk menangkap orang yang diduga memberi racun pada sapi-sapi mereka.
