DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Kebakaran yang terjadi di Pasar Ngunut harus segera ditindak lanjuti dengan langkah-langkah konkrit oleh Pemkab Tulungagung. Utamanya, pemberian fasilitas tempat penampungan sementara untuk pedagang dan pemberian stimulan.

Demikian dikatakan anggota Fraksi PAN DPRD Tulungagung, H Fendy Yuniar M SE, Minggu (10/11).  “Pemerintah daerah harus segera mengambil langkah-langkah konkrit untuk membantu pedagang agar segera bangkit menopang ekonomi mereka,” ujarnya.

Politisi asal Kecamatan Kauman yang juga anggota Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung ini selanjutnya menyatakan ada beberapa langkah yang harus segera dilakukan. Di antaranya, dengan penyediaan fasilitas tempat penampungan sementara atau relokasi untuk pedagang, selain pula pemberian stimulan.

Menurut Fendy Yuniar, sebagai anggota DPRD Tulungagung, ia sangat prihatin atas musibah terbakarnya Pasar Ngunut. Terlebih kondisi perekonomian saat ini masih terasa berat. “Harus ada bantuan modal bagi mereka pedagang yang terkena musibah kebakaran. Pemkab juga harus berkoordinasi dengan provinsi untuk membangun kembali Pasar Ngunut yang terbakar ,” tambahnya.

Pasar Ngunut terbakar pada Jumat (8/11) petang. Api diduga pertama kali berasal dari bagian selatan pasar.

Akibat kebakaran yang relatif  besar ini, akitiftas 800 pedagang di Pasar Ngunut terhenti total. Mereka berharap pemerintah daerah segera pula mengambil langkah agar bisa beraktifitas seperti sebelum ada kebakaran.
