Rombongan Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung berfoto bersama Asisten Sekda Kota Balikpapan, M Noor saat berkunjung ke Kantor Pemkot Balikpapan, Selasa (23/7).

DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Pimpinan dan anggota Komisi C melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Kota Balikpapan. Kunjungan  studi banding tersebut guna mengoptimalkan dan mendongkrak pendapatan asli daerah (PAD) Kabupaten Tulungagung.

Dalam kunjungan dua hari yang dipimpin Ketua Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung, Drs Subani Sirab, ini pada hari pertama, Selasa (23/7), mereka berkunjung ke Pemkot Balikpapan. Di Kantor Pemerintah Kota Balikpapan itu rombongan Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung diterima oleh Asisten Sekda Kota Balikpapan, Drs Muhammad Noor, beserta pejabat dan staf Pemkot Balikpapan.

Sedang pada hari kedua, Rabu (24/7), rombongan Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung melanjutkan kunjungan ke Pasar Pandansari Kota Balikpapan. Saat ini Pasar Pandansari sedang direvitalisasi untuk pasar rakyat dengan kucuran dana sebesar Rp 10 miliar dari APBD murni Kota Balikpapan.

Anggota Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung ketika meninjau Pasar Pandansari Kota Balikpapan yang tengah direvitalisasi, Rabu (24/7).

Menurut anggota Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung, Heru Santoso SPd MPd, kunjungan ke Kota Balikpapan yang bermotto Balikpapan Kota Beriman itu untuk studi banding terkait pengoptimalan penerimaan PAD. “Di kota ini (Balikpapan) banyak mengembangkan dan mengoptimalkan pendapatan dari sektor jasa. Termasuk pajak dan retribusi,” ujarnya.

Heru Santoso memaparkan Kota Balikpapan patut ditiru karena saat ini PAD kota tersebut sudah mencapai Rp 700 miliar dan juga masih terus melakukan upaya-upaya pendongkrakan PAD seperti di antaranya dengan rencana penerapan E-Pajak dan E-Retribusi.

“Sistem retribusi yang kini dilakukan di Kota Balikpapan adalah 1.000 meter/hari. Sementara di Tulungagung 10.000 meter/bulan sesuai dengan perda kita,” paparnya.
