DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Kejuaraan bola voli putra antar kecamatan perebutan Piala DPRD Kabupaten Tulungagung ke V resmi digelar mulai, Senin (12/11) petang. Tim pertama yang melakukan pertandingan adalah Tim Kecamatan Rejotangan melawan Tim Kecamatan Pucanglaban.
Gelaran kejuaraan tahunan ini dimulai dengan pukulan servis pertama oleh Ketua DPRD Tulungagung, Supriyono SE MSi, setelah sebelumnya dibuka secara resmi oleh Ketua Panitia Kejuaraan Bola Voli Putra DPRD Tulungagung Ke V, Imam Khoirudin SAg.
Dalam sambutannya, Imam Khoirudin mengungkapkan kejuaran bola voli putra DPRD Tulungagung ke V digelar dalam rangka memperingati Hari Jadi Tulungagung ke 813. “Alhamdulillah kejuaraan ini sudah berlangsung yang kelima kalinya,” ujarnya.
Ia berharap kejuaraan bola voli yang diadakan oleh DPRD Tulungagung tersebut dapat memicu masyarakat Tulungagung dalam berprestasi. Utamanya, dalam olahraga bola voli.
“Bagi yang menang nantinya akan mendapat piala dan uang pembinaan. Sedang yang kalah dapat dijadikan pemicu juga untuk lebih berprestasi,” paparnya.
Sesuai rencana kejuaraan bola voli putra DPRD Tulungagung ke V yang diikuti 19 tim dari 19 kecamatan di Tulungagung ini dimulai pada hari ini, Senin (12/11) sampai Sabtu (17/11). Dan setiap harinya bakal ada dua sampai tiga pertandingan.
Pada pertandingan hari pertama, Senin (12/11), digelar tiga pertandingan. Yang pertama pukul 16.00 WIB antara Tim Kecamatan Rejotangan dan Tim Kecamatan Pucanglaban, kedua pukul 19.00 WIB antara Tim Kecamatan Sumbergempol dan Tim Kecamatan Campurdarat serta pertandingan ketiga pukul 20.00 WIB antara Tim Kecamatan Sendang dan Tim Kecamatan Besuki.
Sementara untuk pertandingan final pada Sabtu (17/11) mendatang, pertandingan perebutan juara III akan berlangsung pada pukul 19.00 WIB dan untuk perebutan juara I pada pukul 20.30 WIB.
