Imam Kambali menyerahkan nota kesepakatan tuntutan yang telah ditandatanganinya pada Ketua Umum HMI Cabang Tulungagung, Aqwa Dzawit Tuqo.

DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Wakil Ketua DPRD Tulungagung, Imam Kambali SE MSi, menandatangani nota kesepakatan delapan tuntutan yang diajukan HMI Cabang Tulungagung saat melakukan aksi unjuk rasa di Kantor DPRD Tulungagung, Kamis (27/9).

Penandatanganan ini dilakukan Imam Kambali saat menemui perwakilan mahasiswa yang dipimpin Ketua Umum HMI Cabang Tulungagung, Aqwa Dzawit Tuqo, di Ruang Aspirasi Kantor DPRD Tulungagung. Hadir dalam pertemuan itu juga Ketua Komisi A DPRD Tulungagung, Drs H Mashud dan sejumlah anggota Komisi A DPRD Tulungagung lainnya, yakni Hj Susilowati SE, Drs H Imam Ngaqoib MH, H Nurhamim SAg dan Riyanah SH MH MM.

H Mashud menemui massa HMI Cabang Tulungagung seusai pertemuan perwakilan mahasiswa dan anggota DPRD Tulungagung.

Imam Kambali menyambut baik  permintaan dan tuntutan HMI Cabang Tulungagung. Ia pun bersedia menandatangani nota kesepahaman delapan tuntutan dari HMI Cabang Tulungagung yang akan disampaikan pada DPR RI dan pemerintah pusat.

Namun demikian, Imam Kambali sempat menyatakan ketidaksepahamannya terhadap dua dari delapan tuntutan HMI Cabang Tulungagung. Yakni tuntutan pemerintah harus berhenti berhutang kepada luar negeri karena hutang bukanlah solusi yang solutif dan pemerintah harus mencabut UU TKA.

“Kami belum memahami secara betul. Seperti pemerintah harus berhenti berhutang itu tidak kami pahami. Lalu pemerintah harus mencabut UU TKA kami juga bingung. Karena banyak TKI kita yang juga di luar negeri,” ujarnya.

Massa HMI Cabang Tulungagung saat berdemo dan berorasi di depan Kantor DPRD Tulungagung.

Dipaparkan Imam Kambali, jika pemerintah mencabut UU TKA dan sejumlah negara juga berbuat serupa, maka TKI atau TKW yang berada di luar negeri akan pulang ke Indonesia. Padahal jumlah mereka lebih banyak daripada jumlah WNA yang bekerja di Indonesia. “TKI yang ada di Cina saja ada 81 ribu, kemudian di Hingkong TKI ada 150 ribu. Itu belum yang ada di Malaysia dan Arab Saudi. Sementara TKA di  Indonesia berjumlah 74 ribuan dan dari Cina 21 ribu,” terangnya.

Aksi ujuk rasa dari HMI Cabang Tulungagung bubar setelah Imam Kambali menyerahkan nota kesepakatan yang telah ditandatanganinya kepada Aqwa Dzawit. Sebelum bubar, H Mashud sempat pula keluar ruangan dan memberikan penjelasan pada massa HMI terkait pertemuan yang dilakukan antara anggota DPRD Tulungagung dan perwakilan HMI Cabang Tulungagung.

Aksi demonstrasi HMI Cabang Tulungagung  yang bertema aksi peduli kondisi bangsa ini dijaga ketat aparat kepolisian dari Polres Tulungagung. Polisi bahkan selama beberapa saat memblokade pagar masuk Kantor DPRD Tulungagung ketika mahasiswa melakukan aksinya dan berorasi di depan Kantor DPRD Tulungagung.
