DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Pimpinan DPRD Tulungagung dan anggota Komisi B DPRD Tulungagung ikut memeriahkan puncak Peringatan Hari Koperasi Ke-70 Provinsi Jawa Timur (Jatim) yang berlangsung di halaman GOR Lembu Peteng Kota Tulungagung, Jumat (21/7). Mereka ikut hadir di acara yang dihadiri Menteri Koperasi dan UKM, Drs Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Puspayoga, Gubernur Jatim, Dr H Soekarwo, dan Bupati Tulungagung, Syahri Mulyo SE MSi.

Wakil Ketua DPRD Tulungagung, Adib Makarim MH, mengapresiasi penyelenggaraan puncak Peringatan Hari Koperasi ke-70 Provinsi Jatim yang berlangsung di Tulungagung. “Merupakan penghargaan yang besar kemudian Tulungagung menjadi tempat acara peringatan hari koperasi tingkat Jatim,” ujarnya.

Peringatan hari koperasi tingkat Jatim yang dipusatkan di Tulungagung, menurut koordinator Komisi B DPRD Tulungagung ini, sangat tepat. Selain Tulungagung mempunyai banyak koperasi dan UMKM, juga Bupati Syahri Mulyo baru-baru ini mendapat penghargaan tanda kehormatan Satyalencana Pembangunan Bidang Koperasi dan UKM Tahun 2017 dari Presiden RI, Ir Joko Widodo. “Apalagi di Tulungagung ada 51.000 lebih unit UMKM yang beromset sekitar Rp 1,6 triliun,” terangnya.

Puncak Peringatan Hari Koperasi ke-70 Provinsi Jatim di Tulungagung berlangsung meriah. Tidak hanya acara seremonial saja tetapi juga disemarakkan dengan acara lainnya. Seperti Expo UKM dan Pasar Rakyat yang juga berlangsung di halaman GOR Lembu Peteng serta pagelaran wayang kulit dan jalan sehat yang akan diselenggarakan pada Sabtu (22/7) dan Minggu (23/7).
