Pimpinan dan anggota Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung saat melakukan observasi di Puskesmas Campurdarat, Jumat (26/5).

DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung meminta Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Tulungagung untuk melakukan kajian terhadap usulan peningkatan status Puskesmas Campurdarat menjadi RSUD tipe D.

Anggota Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung, H Heru Santoso SPd MPd, mengungkapkan usulan peningkatan status tersebut mengemuka setelah Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung melakukan observasi di Puskesmas Campurdarat, Jumat (26/5). “Ada usulan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan pada masyarakat menjadikan Puskesmas Campurdarat beralih status menjadi RSUD tipe D,” ujarnya.

Karena itu, Komisi C DPRD Tulungagung, menurut Heru Santoso, meminta Dinas Kesehatan untuk menindaklanjutinya. Termasuk melakukan kajian dan pemenuhan persyaratan.

Heru Santoso menyebut peningkatan status Puskesmas Campurdarat menjadi RSUD tipe D sudah harus dipikirkan karena keberadaan RSUD dr Iskak yang kini sudah menjelma menjadi rumah sakit rujukan regional Jatim selatan. Di rumah sakit milik Pemkab Tulungagung tersebut seringkali kelebihan pasien yang ditangani sehingga membuat pelayanan relatif kurang memuaskan.

“Apalagi jumlah penduduk Tulungagung sudah 1,2 juta jiwa. Sementara tempat tidur pasien di RSUD dr Iskak hanya 600 buah saja. Masih jauh dari proporsional dengan junlah penduduk yang idealnya 1:1.000,” paparnya.

Namun demikian, lanjut politisi asal PDI Perjuangan ini, peningkatan status Puskesmas menjadi RSUD tipe D tidaklah mudah. Butuh proses yang relatif panjang.

“Ini terkait beberapa hal, seperti di antaranya, persiapan dan penyiapan sarana dan prasarana, sumberdaya manusia, masalah perizinan Kemenkes serta lain-lainnya,” paparnya lagi.
