DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Turnamen Bola Voli Putri DPRD Cup kembali digelar DPRD Tulungagung. Kejuaraan yang ketiga kalinya ini resmi digelar di halaman parkir Kantor DPRD Tulungagung, Selasa (25/4) sore.

Kejuaraan Bola Voli Putri DPRD Cup III dibuka oleh Wakil Ketua DPRD Tulungagung, Agus Budiarto SE Ak. Ia menandai pembukaan turnamen bola voli antar kecamatan itu dengan memberikan bola voli pada wasit sebelum dilakukan pertandingan perdana antara Tim Bola Voli Putri Kecamatan Tulungagung melawan Tim Bola Voli Putri Kecamatan Ngunut.

Dalam sambutannya, Agus Budiarto mengatakan Kejuaraan Bola Voli Putri DPRD Cup III diadakan dalam rangka memperingati Hari Kartini. “Selain itu untuk menyehatkan masyarakat dan menambah silaturahim antara DPRD Tulungagung dengan masyarakat,” ujarnya.

Agus Budiarto yang politisi asal Partai Gerindra ini juga menyatakan diadakannya turnamen bola voli juga bertujuan untuk mencari bibit-bibit pebola voli handal dari Tulungagung. “Nantinya akan muncul tim-tim kuat dari Tulungagung yang dapat bertanding di tingkat yang lebih atas (provinsi),” tuturnya.

Sebelumnya, Ketua Panitia Kejuaraan Bola Voli Putri DPRD Cup III, Hj Susilowati SE, mengungkapkan pertandingan bola voli akan berlangsung mulai Selasa (25/4) sampai dengan Minggu (30/4) mendatang. “Pertandingan diikuti 19 tim dari 19 kecamatan se-Tulungagung,” katanya.

Selain dipertandingkan antara Tim Bola Voli Putri Kecamatan Tulungagung melawan Tim Bola Voli Putri Kecamatan Ngunut, Selasa (25/4), juga dilakukan dua pertandingan lainnya. Yakni Tim Bola Voli Putri Kecamatan Campurdarat melawan Tim Bola Voli Putri Kecamatan Tanggunggunung pada pukul 19.00 WIB dan Tim Bola Voli Putri Kecamatan Gondang melawan Tim Bola Voli Kecamatan Sumbergempol pada pukul 20.30 WIB.

Sedang pertandingan pertama antara Tim Bola Voli Putri Kecamatan Tulungagung dan Tim Bola Voli Putri Kecamatan Ngunut dimulai sekitar pukul 16.45 WIB.
