DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Selain kedatangan tamu dari DPRD Kota Batu, Kantor DPRD Tulungagung, Jumat (3/5), juga menerima kunjungan kerja (kunker) dari Komisi A DPRD Kabupaten Jombang. Kedatangan rombongan Komisi A DPRD Kabupaten Jombang yang dipimpin Ketua Komisi A DPRD Kabupaten Jombang, Drs Cakup Ismono, ini diterima oleh Kasubag Humas dan Protokol Sekretariat DPRD Tulungagung, Susilowati SSos.

Seusai pertemuan, Susilowati menuturkan kedatangan Komisi A DPRD Kabupaten Jombang ke DPRD Tulungagung terkait pengawasan dan penataan pedagang kaki lima di Kabupaten Tulungagung. “Mengenai pengawasan dan penataan pedagang kaki lima di Kabupaten Tulungagung sudah diatur dalam Perda Nomor 7 Tahun 2012 tentang Penyelenggaraan Ketertiban Umum,” katanya.

Menurut dia, pengawasan pedagang kaki lima di Kabupaten Tulungagung menjadi tugas bersama. “Dan Satpol PP Kabupaten Tulungagung menjadi leading sector-nya,” terangnya.

Selain menjelaskan tentang payung hukum terkait pengawasan dan penataan pedagang kaki lima, Susilowati juga mengungkapkan relokasi pedagang kaki lima yang pernah dilakukan oleh Pemkab Tulungagung. Seperti di antaranya pedagang kaki lima di Alun-Alun Kota Tulungagung yang direlokasi ke pusat kuliner (Pujasera) Pasar Ngemplak.

Seperti diketahui, saat ini di Alun – Alun Kota Tulungagung sudah bersih dari pedagang kaki lima. Padahal sebelum tahun 2005 di area Alun-Alun Kota Tulungagung dipenuhi pedagang kaki lima utamanya pada malam hari.
