Pimpinan dan staf Sekretarariat DPRD Tulungagung saat membersihkan sampah dan rumput di bantaran Kali Ngrowo, Jumat (3/11) pagi.

DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Seluruh jajaran pimpinan dan staf Sekretariat DPRD (Setwan) Tulungagung ikut kegiatan Bersih-Bersih Kali Ngrowo, Jumat (3/11). Kegiatan berlangsung pukul 06.00 WIB.

Mereka semua ikut terlibat membersihkan sampah di sepanjang bantaran Kali Ngrowo mulai Dam Majan sampai Jembatan Gantung Kedunsoko bersama OPD (Organisasi Perangkat Daerah) lingkup Pemkab Tulungagung lainnya dan sejumlah elemen masyarakat dan pelajar.

Acara bersih-bersih Kali Ngrowo ini dipimpin oleh Wakil Bupati Tulungagung, Drs Maryoto Birowo MM. Selain diikuti pula oleh anggota Forkopimda (Forum Komunikasi Pimpinan Daerah) Tulungagung dan anggota DPR RI, Ir Budi Yuwono, DIPL SE.

Sekretaris DPRD (Sekwan) Tulungagung, Drs Budi Fatahillah MansyurMSi,  di lokasi acara Bersih-Bersih Kali Ngrowo mengatakan, partisipasi jajaran pimpinan dan staf Sekretariat DPRD Tulungagung dalam membersihkan bantaran Kali Ngrowo merupakan wujud nyata dalam kepedulian menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. “Kami dari Sekretariat DPRD Tulungagung pun ikut mendukung gerakan Kali Ngrowo bebas sampah dan bebas limbah,” ujarnya.

Menurut Budi Fatahillah, kegiatan bersih-bersih sampah di bantaran Kali Ngowo sangat bermanfaat. Selain dapat membuat Kali Ngowo menjadi bersih dan asri, juga dapat semakin menumbuhkan budaya bersih di semua kalangan masyarakat.

Sementara itu, dalam acara Bersih-Bersih Kali Ngrowo, Wakil Bupati Maryoto Birowo mencanangkan pembentukan Satgas Kali Ngrowo. Diharapkan dengan adanya satuan tugas tersebut Kali Ngrowo yang merupakan salah satu ikon Kabupaten Tulungagung dapat terjaga keasriannya, tanpa ada sampah dan limbah.
