DPRD TULUNGAGUNG – Tim Kecamatan Kauman akhirnya tampil sebagai jawara dalam Kejuaraan Piala DPRD Cup IV. Mereka juara setelah menghempaskan Tim Kecamatan Pagerwojo dalam pertandingan final di Halaman Kantor DPRD Tulungagung, Jumat (24/11) malam.
Tim Kecamatan Kauman berhak membawa pulang Piala Bergilir DPRD Cup yang diberikan secara langsung oleh Ketua DPRD Tulungagung, Supriyono SE MSi, seusai pertandingan. Selain juga mendapat piala tetap dan uang pembinaan sebesar Rp 8 juta.
Sedang Tim Kecamatan Pagerwojo yang meraih juara II memperoleh piala tetap dan uang pembinaan sebesar Rp 5,5 juta.
Sementara itu, untuk juara III diraih oleh Tim Kecamatan Kalidawir. Dipertandingan final perebutan juara III, mereka mengalahkan Tim Kecamatan Kedungwaru dengan tiga set langsung. Kemenangan Tim Kecamatan Kalidawir ini membuat Tim Kecamatan Kedungwaru harus puas diposisi juara IV.
Sebagai juara III Tim Kecamatan Kalidawir mendapat piala tetap serta uang pembinaan sebesar Rp 3,5 juta. Sedang Tim Kecamatan Kedungwaru memperoleh hadiah piala tetap dan uang pembinaan senilai Rp 2,5 juta.
Pertandingan final Piala DPRD Cup IV ditengah hujan rintik tersebut berlangsung seru. Penonton yang memenuhi halaman Kantor DPRD Tulungagung dibuat betah tidak meninggalkan tempat pertandingan karena Tim Kecamatan Kauman tidak mudah dalam menekuk Tim Kecamatan Pagerwojo. Mereka harus bekerja lebih keras setelah Tim Kecamatan Pagerwojo dapat mengejar ketertinggalannya dengan memenangi set ke-3 dan ke-4. Tim Kecamatan Kauman baru bisa bergembira di set ke-5 setelah memenangi pertandingan dengan skor 15-9.
Ketua Panitia Kejuaraan Bola Volly Putra DPRD Cup IV, Choirurrohim SH, berharap dengan telah usainya kejuaraan ini akan muncul bibit baru atlet bola volly putra di Tulungagung. “Semoga yang telah juara di Kejuaraan Bola Volly Putra DPRD Cup IV dapat meraih prestasi yang lebih tinggi,” ujarnya.
Ia pun mengucapkan rasa syukur karena Kejuaraan Bola Volly Putra DPRD Cup IV dapat berlangsung lancar dan sukses. “Dan yang terpenting lagi, dengan diselenggarakannya Kejuaraan Bola Volly DPRD Cup ini, DPRD semakin dekat dengan masyarakat,” paparnya.
